About this event

The Sunday after Thanksgiving, the holidays have really begun. The gatherings, the family, the giving, the plans — and for some of us, this time of year brings up a lot.

If your mind won't quiet down right now, you're not alone. Racing thoughts. Overthinking. Feeling wired, even when you're tired. Trying to be there for everyone else, while you're running on empty yourself.

You can't give what you don't have.

That's why this series starts right after Thanksgiving, not in January. Thanksgiving takes a lot out of us — hosting, traveling, family, all of it — and Christmas is still ahead. This is a chance to pause in between, and go into December steadier, instead of already worn out.

Each Sunday, we do a slow, restful breathwork journey that helps you move from stress mode into rest mode. No pushing, no big release. Just lying down, breathing normally through your nose, and letting your body settle.

What does that do for you during the holidays? It helps quiet a busy mind, so you can think more clearly and be more present with the people you're with. It helps your body let go of the tension you're carrying, so you have more patience and more energy for the gatherings, the shopping, the family — and for yourself. And because we meet every Sunday, it builds week by week, instead of being one good afternoon that fades by Monday.

Sundays, Nov 29 through Dec 20, 3 to 5 PM, at The Haven of Ascension. $150 for all four weeks, or $44 to drop in. Only 12 seats, so it's small and quiet.

Take this time for yourself first — the people you love will feel the difference.

This series, week by week:

Week 1 - Nov. 29

9D Breathwork Journey: Down Regulation and Regeneration

Turn the volume down. Slow, restful breathing through your nose, a body scan, and a gentle relaxation — no pushing, no big release. For a busy mind that won't quiet down, and a body that feels wired even when you're tired.

Week 2 - Dec. 6

9D Breathwork Journey: Integration & Regeneration

Let your body catch up. Slow and restful, to help what you felt in Week 1 settle in, so the calmer feeling lasts instead of fading by Monday.

Week 3 - Dec. 13

9D Breathwork Journey: The Stillness Code

Stillness, not effort. Nasal breathing only, mostly passive listening — the slowest, most restful journey in the series, for when trying harder to relax isn't working.

Week 4 - Dec. 20

9D Breathwork Journey: Heart of Connection

Carry it forward. Short and kind, focused on self-kindness and connection, with extra time for sharing, a practice plan to take home, and a free integration check-in offer.

Week 1 - Nov. 29

9D Breathwork Journey: Down Regulation and Regeneration

This first Sunday is about turning the volume down.

We lie down, breathe slowly and normally through the nose, and let the body settle — a body scan, a slow relaxation, and space to let go of the tension you're carrying. No pushing, no big release, and nothing you have to get right.

It helps if your mind won't quiet down, if you feel wired even when you're tired, or if you have trouble switching off at night. You leave with a quieter mind and a body that has had a real chance to rest — and that's the foundation the next three weeks build on.
