LSU baseball signee Logan Schmidt announced Sunday evening he will not sign with the Cleveland Guardians, leaving him to choose between joining LSU or playing at a junior college. If he joins LSU, he will not be draft eligible until 2029 (choosing JUCO would let him reenter the draft next year).
