About this event

Join LASM Assistant Curator and Museum Preparator Beth Welch from 10:00 AM–12:30 PM for a creative morning inspired by Reflections: The Art of George Rodrigue. We’ll begin with a guided tour of the exhibition before exploring Rodrigue’s iconic Blue Dog, including the characters, symbols and storytelling behind his work. Then, it’s your turn to create! Send us a photo of your pet ahead of class and transform your furry friend into a one-of-a-kind Blue Dog–style masterpiece! Paint your own original Blue Dog or Blue Cat inspired by your beloved companion. Visit LASM.org/StudioSaturdays to learn more.
