If you're heading to Tiger Stadium, plan around a 2:30 p.m. Saturday kickoff. No. 15 LSU hosts No. 9 Alabama, and both teams are 6-2 coming off bye weeks. It's the last annual meeting for the foreseeable future, since the SEC did away with the East-West divisions and gave each team three permanent opponents.

Lane Kiffin says Alabama is the most talented team LSU has faced all year. Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer said, "You can see them continue to improve." The two have never met as head coaches. Former LSU quarterback Matt Mauck, from the 2003 national championship team, joined Jacques Talk Live to talk through a November in which LSU is fighting to keep its playoff hopes alive. Here's how the two stack up on the field.
- Sam Leavitt: 312 total yards per game, 23 more than Russell
- Alabama's two losses, Georgia and Tennessee: its only games under 20 points
- Alabama is 6-0 when it scores 30 or more points
- Jackson Harris: five touchdowns in the last three games

That's in the top 20 in the country. Alabama quarterback Keelon Russell, fresh off 300 yards and three touchdowns against Texas A&M, will face it Saturday.
