- ➤ Councilman Darryl Hurst hosted his Third Annual Back-to-School Haircuts and Styles event on Sunday at the Charles R. Kelly Community Center, where local barbers provided free haircuts for youth to boost their confidence for the new semester (the community event supports school readiness). WBRZ

- ➤ Cajun Broadband, from Broussard, celebrated a completed broadband project in Abbeville on Tuesday, Dec. 9 with local officials and Gov.
