- ➤ State Senate President Cameron Henry said Wednesday that LA GATOR funding will remain at $43.5M, rejecting Gov. Jeff Landry’s plan to double it to avoid unsustainable costs (he warned expanding the program risks endless hikes). Lawmakers will review the issue in the legislative session starting March 9. - ➤ Louisiana regulators rejected a probe into Meta's new financing arrangement for its AI data center, which now gives a private equity firm majority ownership in Richland Parish. Entergy said Meta will cover plant costs for 15 years (fully insured) and regulators may revisit the issue if new evidence emerges. The Advocate
