- ➤ Louisiana State Police Troopers investigated three fatal crashes overnight that resulted in four deaths after a speeding pursuit led to a head-on collision on LA 30, a rollover occurred on LA 70 near Donaldsonville, and a collision happened on I-10 near Prairieville—each case remains under investigation. - ➤ Baton Rouge Fire Department confirmed one death in a house fire on Thursday morning on Bunker Hill Drive near Congress Boulevard — the East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner’s Office responded to the scene. WAFB 9
- ➤ A crash on Nicholson Drive left one person dead and two others hurt on Wednesday, March 12—emergency crews responded to the scene. WAFB 9

- ➤ A new study from the Baton Rouge Area Foundation shows that early help for boys who have trouble in school could lower the city's high murder rate — it found that most young men convicted of murder did not finish high school and grew up in poor neighborhoods. WBRZ
- ➤ Baton Rouge authorities reported that two people died when a high-speed pursuit in St. Gabriel ended in a head-on crash on Bluebonnet Boulevard and Nicholson Drive—both victims were in the fleeing vehicle that ran a red light before colliding with another car. WBRZ
- ➤ Baton Rouge police and the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office caught a suspect on Jefferson Highway near Stumberg Lane during a manhunt for a rapist who broke into a home and raped a person, which led to a brief lockdown at nearby schools. WBRZ
