- ➤ Seeds to Success partnered with Knock Knock Children's Museum on Friday, March 13 to host the Adventuresome Eating Club. Children sampled strawberry salsa and participated in hands-on strawberry activities to learn about healthy, local produce. WBRZ
- ➤ On Friday, March 13, the Iberville Parish Library in Plaquemine hosted its 80th Gray Monkey Parade. The event featured the 'Plant a Seed, Read' theme for the summer reading program and included fun activities for children (a puppet show, princess performances, a trackless train ride and a petting zoo). - ➤ Baton Rouge Gallery is planning a new building adjacent to its longtime home at City-Brooks Community Park as it outgrows its 2,800 sqft space; design plans with BREC and local architects are expected by fall (project is in early stages). The Advocate
- ➤ Former LSU gymnast Livvy Dunne will join the Baywatch reboot cast as recurring lifeguard Grace—filming begins this spring in Los Angeles. She is the second Baton Rouge-connected cast member, joining Brooks Nader, with the series set to air on Fox in the 2026-2027 season. WAFB 9
- ➤ Meteorologist Jim Cantore is named Grand Marshal for today's Wearin' of the Green parade in Baton Rouge. WBRZ (the local station) will broadcast the event live at 10:30 a.m., with later rebroadcasts highlighting his long legacy in weather reporting. WBRZ
