- ➤ An office building on Corporate Boulevard that once housed Lamar Advertising was sold for $2 million, with documents filed Thursday with the East Baton Rouge Parish Clerk of Court’s office. The buyer, an LLC, will evaluate needed renovations for future tenants (the nearly 52,000-square-foot building remained vacant following a fire in December 2023). The Advocate

- ➤ Denham Springs deputies say a convicted felon, Garrett Graffia, is wanted for burglarizing a home in Point Coupee after he stole multiple firearms in early February—he is also facing pending charges for violent crimes in another parish. WBRZ
- ➤ On Saturday morning, one person was injured in a shooting on Lobdell Highway near Port Allen and was taken to the hospital (officials said). WBRZ
- ➤ Authorities have charged three suspects with felony hazing in connection to Southern University junior Caleb Wilson’s Feb. 27 death in a Baton Rouge warehouse+the case will move to a grand jury under Louisiana’s Max Gruver Act. The Advocate
