- ➤ State leaders and law enforcement officials are warning Baton Rouge parents about the rise in online predators (a growing threat) today and urging families to strengthen digital safety measures to protect children. WAFB 9

- ➤ Danielle Satterwhite and Tara Milligan from Zachary were elected to Phi Kappa Phi at Southeastern Louisiana University and University of Lynchburg; their membership honors academic excellence among top students, faculty, and staff. The Advocate
- ➤ The Denham Springs High robotics team won the Pike Peak Regional Competition in Colorado Springs and earned a spot at the FIRST World Championship in Houston later this spring. - ➤ The Louisiana Board of Regents approved a new Bachelor of Science in AI at LSU in Baton Rouge and created a 90+hr accelerated bachelor's degree that focuses students on their field. The program builds on existing courses to meet local industry needs + supports job growth. The Advocate
- ➤ Southern University resumed normal operations Tuesday morning after Monday’s power outage cancelled classes; interim president Orlando McMeans and students expressed concern over recurring outages and urged the state for a $19 million one-time investment to upgrade campus technology, security, and housing. - ➤ Partial lane closures began on Tuesday along Bluebonnet Boulevard between Gail Drive and Jefferson Highway for road rehabilitation and will continue until Friday, officials said. WBRZ

Gov Nungesser, DOTD Secretary Glenn Ledet, Susan Russell, and Ginger Tastet were honored at New Orleans’ Keep America Beautiful National Summit for their work to improve local environmental efforts, with over 500 participants and 82 local representatives present.
