  • An 18-wheeler crashed on the interstate late May 7, killing one driver, and the Denham Springs Police Department is investigating the incident.  WAFB 9
  • Emergency officials responded to a structure fire in the Gardere area on Thursday morning, May 8 — firefighters secured the scene and began investigating the cause.  WAFB 9

  • Phillip Kegan Gardner was found guilty of second-degree murder — obstruction of justice in the death of Nevaeh Allen after a week-long trial.  WAFB 9

  • The third annual Baton Rouge Night Market will highlight Asian culture tomorrow in downtown Baton Rouge from 3 p.m. — 9 p.m., featuring vendors such as Seoul Stop, The Madz Kitchen and Sushi Iku.  WBRZ
  • Disney On Ice is presenting 'Let's Dance' at Raising Cane’s River Center for Mother’s Day weekend—today a 7 p.m. performance kicks off the event and additional shows are scheduled for May 10 and May 11 with Mickey Mouse remixing Disney tunes into fun stories.
