- ➤ The Albertsons on College Drive is holding a closeout sale with discounts from 10% off produce to 70% off seasonal items as it prepares to close after more than 30 years—set to shut down by August 16. - ➤ Baton Rouge police arrested 21-year-old Javeon Brown and 18-year-old Zavieon Thomas after a drive-by shooting hit an apartment on the 5600 block of Autumn Blossom Drive — officers later linked a Chevy Impala with a flat tire to an AK pistol found in the trunk and a Glock discovered in a nearby residence, and they detained a juvenile for alleged involvement. - ➤ Baton Rouge police are asking for help finding 26-year-old Marquise Quindell Beckham, who is accused of attempted second-degree rape+obscenity after he allegedly chased a woman at an apartment complex pool on Ben Hur Road early Tuesday morning. WAFB 9
