- ➤ Alexia Hamilton, 26, was arrested by East Baton Rouge Parish deputies on July 25 after she allegedly tried to shoot her mother at Eat ‘N’ Geaux on Airline Highway during a work dispute—witnesses said a bullet shattered a glass window while people were inside. WVLA
- ➤ Police responded at 8:45 a.m. on Sunday to a shooting at The Hub at Baton Rouge Apartment Homes near the Walmart on Highland at Lee Drive—one woman was fatally shot in the chest while a man sustained a non-life-threatening leg injury and no witnesses have been found. The Advocate
