ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Explosions and a fire continue to burn more than 24 hours after a Friday explosion at Smitty's Supply in Arcola—about 1,000 residents remain under a one-mile evacuation order while state police and federal agencies monitor the situation with no reported injuries. WBRZ
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Darius Moses, a former volunteer coach at Broadmoor High School who was fired and banned nearly two years ago for allegedly flashing a cleaning lady—was arrested on July 22 after he allegedly entered the school after hours and groped a teacher in her classroom. WBRZ
- ➤ Rachel Myles, 35, was arrested at an IHOP on Harding Boulevard after she allegedly stole a cup of coffee and tried to shoot an employee during a dispute over a gun—she now faces charges of attempted first-degree murder, armed robbery, theft, and resisting a police officer. WVLA

- ➤ Parents in Baton Rouge say a bus route for Baton Rouge Magnet High School did not run because no driver was assigned on East Groner Avenue, leaving students to rely on carpooling.
