- ➤ Southern University and A&M College removed the Beta Sigma Chapter plot from campus after 20-year-old Caleb Wilson died in an alleged hazing incident on August 28—police said he was punched four times with boxing gloves and three former fraternity members were arrested. WVLA
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Two South Korean companies will invest $59.4 million in a new consolidated manufacturing facility in West Baton Rouge Parish—selected for its site in Brusly—to create 275 direct jobs and 418 indirect jobs by renovating the former Trinity Marine Products building, with operations set to begin in spring.
