- ➤ Damon Hebert is starting Chenier Shot Shells in Hathaway — a business that hand makes non-toxic shotgun shells for waterfowl hunting — and he is waiting for his SSL license to sell online soon. He bought his partner’s share to keep the business local and help support his family. WVLA
- ➤ Bally’s Baton Rouge Casino and Hotel officially rebranded the Belle of Baton Rouge after a multimillion-dollar transformation was announced Monday; the new land-based complex features 25,000 square feet of gaming space, a large sportsbook, and multiple dining options (a nod to its historic train station roots). The property will open in December pending final approval from the Louisiana Gaming Control board as it aims to revitalize the riverfront corridor. 225 Magazine
