- ➤ Assumption Parish law enforcement said Monday that the Belle River Bridge is closed to boat traffic because low water levels cause operational issues — the boat parade scheduled for Saturday will now start at Graveyard Island and finish at the bridge instead of continuing to Bayou Godell. WBRZ
